Fabrication

As an industrial maintenance, millwright, construction company we do small and large projects in our customers facilities. Many times the projects calls for items to be fabricated to specifications and be of high quality. We found that the most dependable way of doing that was to fabricate it ourselves. So the “IS Fab Shop” was born. Like any work from Independent Services…our fabricated parts are built correctly and delivered quickly.

A common part required in our work is handrail. Much of the larger equipment we install, move or maintain has catwalk or mezzanines as part of the personnel access points. Inspection ports, fill stations and other worker access points are quite often oddly shaped and required to have safety railing. Our crews can create or repair these access points…take measurements…fabricate precise parts…ship and install on the jobsite. This can be done while our competition waits on parts.

We fabricate stairs, rails, ladders, anchors and fasteners, pipe bollards, stainless materials, structural steel, non-ferrous & non-corrosive fabrication.
